Notably, he earned the distinguished title of being the 55th individual worldwide to attain the COBIT Certified Assessor Designation.
Having been actively involved in diverse roles, Mr Anjay Agarwal has established connections with Government and Professional bodies. He served as a Jury Member for the Maharashtra IT Awards, presented by the State of Maharashtra.
He has affiliations with ISACA (USA), ISACA Mumbai Chapter, and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Remarkably, Mr Agarwal achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first individual from Asia to be the Chairman of the Governmental and Regulatory Agencies Board (GRA Board) of ISACA, International.
He has been associated with ISACA, Mumbai Chapter since 2000-2001 and was the President in 2006-2007. He has been associated with ISACA International since 2002 and has served on various committees/boards.
He has been a member of the Academic Relations Committee of ISACA, International for 2004-2005, 2003-2004 and 2002-2003. He was a Member of the Governmental and Regulatory Agencies Board (GRA Board) of ISACA, International for the year 2006-2007, 2005-2006 & 2004- 2005 and was the Chairman of the Governmental and Regulatory Agencies Board (GRA Board) of ISACA, International for the year 2008-2009 and 2007-2008.
Mr Agarwal served as Chairman of the GRA Sub Committee Area 1 for ISACA International during 2010-2011 and 2009-2010. Additionally, he contributed as a Professional Influence / Advocacy Committee member from 2010-2011.
Moreover, he held positions as a member of the Audit Committee for 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 and the Finance Committee for 2011-2012 within ISACA, International.
Mr Agarwal was a Co-opted member of the Information Technology Committee for The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2003-2004.
Additionally, he was a Co-opted member of the Information Technology Committee for the WIRC of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2002 and 2008.
He has also been an esteemed Jury Member for the Maharashtra IT Awards, presented by the State of Maharashtra, for several years. Moreover, his illustrious career includes involvement in over 10,000 Information Security/Cyber Security assignments to date.
