Success and healthy habits often go hand in hand.

This applies not only to working professionals but to every individual. Your health is your biggest asset; as a leader or an entrepreneur with a bag full of responsibilities, it is your duty to inculcate this ideology in your respective company that health has to be a priority.

The Pandemic was an unexpected guest that took a toll on all our mental & physical health. But this guest for sure taught us to prioritize our health above all.

Being an entrepreneur can be hectic, so it is of utmost importance that you figure out ways to maintain your and your workforce's health as they are the ones who help you achieve your dream! Our responsibility is to create a work culture that we would also love to come to every day and put our best foot forward. I firmly believe that a work culture with health as a top priority will automatically pave the road to happiness and, thus, success.

Here are a few activities that help me maintain my health and my team's health. As leaders or Entrepreneurs, we must practice what we preach. Entrepreneurs are often considered high achievers, as they understand the importance of being intentional with every task and making the most out of every day. Incorporating daily habits can go a long way toward reaching your business and personal goals.

Plan for tomorrow, today!

Planning always helps you to start your day with a goal. It is a must that my team updates our Slack channel and the task list for the day so that they feel a sense of accomplishment by the end of the day. When you already have in mind the tasks you wish to accomplish, it helps you have a much clearer mind, and it creates a sense of confidence and lets you be equipped with what you need. Make it a habit to prepare tomorrow's to-do list, schedule, meals, and even clothes you'll wear; this will help you start your mornings with a game plan and be ready to dominate the day.

Listen to Music or Podcasts

Listening to Music between tasks or before starting work can boost productivity. We all have that one song or a playlist that uplifts your mood and re-energizes you. My team often plays some peppy music in the middle of the afternoon as working after lunch tends to get a bit dull. I am someone who loves listening to Podcasts. Various channels help you boost your mental health and motivate you to achieve bigger goals.

Unplug

As Entrepreneurs, staying disconnected from the WORLD WIDE WEB and social media could be difficult. But it is necessary to do so as it would help you clear your mind and promote creative solutions. I am sure you all know that the more time you spend on a social media site or online, the more likely you are to develop depression. Mental Health in today's scenario plays a significant role in the workspace. Especially as Covid 19 struck the world, it affected our physical health and our mental wellness.

Covid 19 has posed unprecedented stress on many individuals; it instilled in us the fear of losing ourselves, adjusting to the new normal, living with restrictions, losing salaries, etc. Hence, as Entrepreneurs or leaders, we must keep mental wellness as our top priority to help our workforce achieve a working space they would love to come to. It's a good idea to unplug from your phone or laptop for a few hours each day to reconnect with your thoughts and the world around you.

Although running a business can keep you caught up, you need to ensure your health stays a priority. On this World Health Day, Let us Entrepreneurs try and make a workspace or work-life that would not be detrimental to us and our excellent workforce. Let's prioritize health and create a workspace where Health, talent, innovative work, and achievements are appreciated.
