In her book, ‘Dare.Dream.Travel’, author Shefali Arora brings forward the predicaments faced by women travellers, as safety and societal pressures refrain them from pursuing their aspirations of exploring the world.

Travel is just another stepping stone on which women are putting their feet. However, dozens of questions pull them back, such as: What is the point of travelling alone without family? How will your children manage in your absence? and so on. Travelling independently is out of the question for many women owing to their responsibilities as well as the fear emanated by social media and news channels.

In Dare.Dream.Travel, Shefali Arora brings forth the stories of women travellers who have been mapping seas and bridging gaps independently. Many of these women travellers are travel entrepreneurs, while many are solo travellers who also extend support to other women in communities across social media platforms.
