The Foundation of a Vision

Dr. Raveena Chhabrani's entrepreneurial journey is shaped by a lifelong commitment to learning and self-development. Growing up in a Sindhi business family with roots in Surat, she was exposed early to an environment where creativity and commerce naturally coexisted. Surat's longstanding association with textiles, gemstones, jewellery craftsmanship, and entrepreneurship nurtured her appreciation for design, colour, and artistic expression.

Over the years, she pursued formal learning in jewellery design, diamond grading, fashion studies, branding, entrepreneurship, and business leadership, building a foundation that would later influence her approach to luxury brand creation.

Reflecting on her personal and professional evolution, she says, “Few founders operate at the intersection of academia, entrepreneurship, technology, branding, design, and luxury. My multidisciplinary journey allows me to combine analytical business thinking with creative vision, enabling me to approach luxury brand building from both strategic and artistic perspectives.”

The Genesis of RAVINAAZ

RAVINAAZ was born not only from Dr. Chhabrani's lifelong appreciation for jewellery, art, and design, but also from her understanding of how modern consumers engage with luxury. Having observed changing expectations around jewellery ownership and usage, she recognised an opportunity to create products that balanced sophistication with versatility.

Rather than viewing jewellery solely as an investment purchase, many consumers were increasingly seeking pieces that complemented contemporary lifestyles and occasion-driven wardrobes. Dr. Chhabrani saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between traditional fine jewellery and conventional fashion jewellery through a category that offered visual sophistication while prioritising practicality and wearability.

Speaking about the idea behind the brand, she explains, “Recognising this emerging need, RAVINAAZ was created to occupy a distinctive space between traditional fine jewellery and conventional fashion jewellery through what we describe as Real Look Luxe Jewellery, a category designed for modern consumers seeking luxury aesthetics without luxury risk.”

Founded in October 2025, RAVINAAZ has since evolved into a design-led luxury brand offering jewellery and artisanal fragrances inspired by India's rich artistic traditions.

“Where Heritage Meets Haute”

At its core, RAVINAAZ is driven by a mission to celebrate and elevate Indian artistry, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage through luxury creations that blend tradition with contemporary elegance.

Guided by the philosophy “Where Heritage Meets Haute”, the brand draws inspiration from India's rich artistic traditions while presenting them through a modern design language. Its collections include statement jewellery, bridal-inspired creations, festive and occasion wear, contemporary luxury accessories, and artisanal solid perfumes.

The brand's creations are crafted using hypoallergenic brass, anti-tarnish finishes, moissanites, American diamonds, pearls, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, kundan, polki, and carefully selected semi-precious stones. Rather than replicating traditional fine jewellery, the objective is to create distinctive products that combine refined aesthetics with everyday wearability.

For Dr. Chhabrani, the brand represents something larger than a commercial venture. As she states, “More than a brand, RAVINAAZ is a tribute to artistry, self-expression, and timeless elegance.”

Today, the company serves professionals, entrepreneurs, wedding and festive shoppers, collectors, gifting customers, and individuals who appreciate thoughtfully designed luxury products that balance cultural inspiration with contemporary sophistication.

Milestones and Momentum

Although still a young brand, RAVINAAZ has achieved several notable milestones since its launch. Within its first year, the company introduced six curated collections spanning bridal-inspired, festive, occasion-wear, statement, travel-friendly, and contemporary luxury segments.

The brand and its founder have also gained visibility across more than 100 digital media platforms, news portals, and content aggregators. RAVINAAZ has also established a presence across multiple Indian cities, including Nagpur, Mumbai, Delhi, Surat, Ahmedabad, and Raipur.

Beyond commercial growth, RAVINAAZ has actively engaged with entrepreneurial and community ecosystems through initiatives such as serving as Title Sponsor for Hobby Club Nagpur and Gift Sponsor for Connect Nagpur. The brand has also gained recognition through participation in business and innovation-focused platforms, including events associated with institutions such as IIM Nagpur. Reflecting on the brand's progress, Dr. Chhabrani says,

While business milestones are important, Dr. Chhabrani considers her greatest achievement to be her journey of continually rebuilding and redefining herself.

After marrying young and experiencing interruptions in her educational journey, she remained committed to personal growth and lifelong learning. As her family responsibilities evolved, she consciously invested in expanding her knowledge and capabilities, completing her BBA, exploring digital marketing and data science, teaching coding and technology, building entrepreneurial ventures, pursuing jewellery design, and eventually earning a Doctorate in Business Administration.

Reflecting on the lessons that shaped her leadership approach, she says, “This journey taught me that leadership is not about having all the answers. It is about remaining committed to a vision, embracing continuous learning, adapting to change, and having the courage to move forward even when the destination is not yet fully visible. RAVINAAZ is the culmination of that journey.”

Towards a Global Luxury Voice

Looking ahead, Dr. Chhabrani sees the luxury sector being increasingly shaped by self-expression, emotional connection, authenticity, and design excellence. For brands that can successfully balance cultural heritage with contemporary relevance, the future presents significant opportunities.

India, in particular, is well-positioned to play a larger role in the global luxury landscape, building on generations of artistry, craftsmanship, textiles, gemstones, and design traditions that have inspired luxury markets worldwide.

Summarising her broader vision, she says, “My aspiration through RAVINAAZ is not merely to build a successful luxury brand but to contribute to a future where Indian creativity is recognised not only as a source of inspiration for global luxury but also as a global luxury voice in its own right.”
