Virender Sehwag Hands Over Winners Trophy for Under 14 Tournament Junior Pitch

Virender Sehwag along with the winning and runners up team at the Junior Pitch Tournament

Patanjali Junior Pitch is a Cricket Tournament for Under 14 Kids, an initiative of Sehwag Cricket Academy. The tournament is now in its 5th edition. This year, there were 6 league matches per team. All the matches were played in T20 format with standard white ball. Coloured dresses were provided to all teams, which were sported across all matches.

All matches of Patanjali Junior Pitch were played at Delhi/NCR and Jhajjar.
 
Anikant from team CCSCSB was chosen as the Best Bowler of tournament and Rohit Sharma as the Best Batsman. The Man of the Tournament was awarded to Omprakash of SIS Aces Champs.
 
Patanjali Junior Pitch Tournament 2017, Started on 2nd April 2017 with the 1st match at S S Khalsa School, Lajpat Nagar. Patanjali Power Vita was the main Sponsor of the 5th edition of Junior Pitch 2017. The tournament was also supported by Johnny Rockets, SG, and Sehwag International School.
 
Over 100+ matches were played in junior Pitch 2017. 4 Teams out of 32 qualified for Semi-Finals.

  • Brij Sharma Cricket Academy 

The final match was Played Between SIS Aces Champs and Brij Sharma Cricket Academy in presence of Mr Virender Sehwag at Sehwag International School Ground on 19th May 2017. It was a nail biting finish, with SIS Aces Champs eventually winning the Final of Patanjali Junior Pitch 2017. Mr Virender Sehwag Handed over the Winner and Runner Up Trophy to Teams.
