Gurugram: Continuing its efforts towards environmental conservation, MADE EASY FOR YOU, a charitable trust, organised a tree plantation drive near the Aravalli Range in Bandwari village on Sunday, August 9.
The drive, held along the roadside near Bandwari village, was led by B. Singh, CMD of NEXT IAS and MADE EASY, and witnessed participation from volunteers and members associated with the organisation.
Participants assembled at MADE EASY School in Bandwari village before proceeding to the plantation site at around 8.30am. Saplings were planted at identified locations, while volunteers also contributed towards their protection and upkeep. Participants had been encouraged to voluntarily bring saplings and tree guards for the initiative.
The plantation drive is part of a series of environmental initiatives undertaken over the years under the leadership of B. Singh. These include campaigns such as “Each One, Plant One” and the Toppers Plantation Initiative, aimed at encouraging students, achievers, employees and members of the wider community to actively contribute towards increasing green cover.
According to the organisation, thousands of trees have been planted through these initiatives over the years, reflecting a sustained focus on environmental responsibility rather than one-time plantation activities.
B. Singh has consistently advocated community participation in environmental conservation, with an emphasis not only on planting saplings but also on ensuring their long-term care and survival.
Organisers said the latest drive near the Aravallis was intended to reinforce the message that environmental protection requires sustained and collective action. The location holds particular significance given the ecological importance of the Aravalli region for Gurugram and the wider National Capital Region.
Volunteers at the event also highlighted the need to protect newly planted saplings through regular maintenance and the use of tree guards wherever required.
Through such initiatives, MADE EASY FOR YOU seeks to encourage greater environmental awareness and inspire individuals to take personal responsibility for creating a greener and cleaner future.
The event concluded with participants reaffirming their commitment to environmental conservation, carrying forward the message that every tree planted today can become a lasting legacy for future generations.
