2 min read

Mumbai, India, October 03, 2024: At just 24, Yahhve Sharma, a North Indian actress with no connections in the film industry, has experienced both the highs and lows of Bollywood in her quest for a breakthrough role. Her persistence paid off, landing her a significant part in the upcoming film Section 108, slated for release in late 2024. Adding to her achievements, Yahhve will share her inspiring journey on the prestigious TEDx platform at Kirorimal College, New Delhi, on October 4, 2024.

In a candid conversation with the media, Yahhve reflected on her struggles, saying, "After three years of constant rejection, I faced two choices: give up or give myself another chance and stay consistent. I chose the latter and eventually secured Section 108, where I acted alongside legends like Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Arbaaz Khan. Playing the second lead, I gave my all to deliver my best performance."

Yahhve considers her challenges — the sleepless nights and career anxieties— as blessings that have pushed her to remain focused and persistent. "Mainstream cinema has always been my dream, one I chase even with open eyes. I’m confident that with hard work, I’ll achieve it. Every day is a new opportunity to grow, and I constantly strive to improve my craft."

Speaking about her upcoming TEDx talk, she shared her excitement about engaging with students and inspiring them to dream big. "In 20 to 25 minutes, I want to motivate them to stay determined, no matter the obstacles, and keep pushing until they reach their goals. I'm honoured to be a part of this platform, and I’ve prepared a focused message about the power of consistency."

Yahhve also took to Instagram to announce her first-ever collaboration with TEDx, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity.
