IndiaLand Announces Rs 1500 Crore Investment to Transform Indian Real Estate Landscape

Dubai-based IndiaLand, a division of the Americorp Group, is thrilled to unveil its comprehensive investment plan to infuse Rs. 1500 crore into the Indian real estate sector over the next three years. This strategic initiative is aimed at expanding IndiaLand’s asset base from the current Rs. 3000 crore to an impressive Rs. 7000 crore within five years.

To date, IndiaLand has successfully constructed over 6 million square feet (MSF) of office parks in Chennai, Pune, and Coimbatore, alongside notable developments in industrial parks and shopping malls.

The upcoming projects include the addition of approximately 2.2 MSF of Grade A office space in Hinjawadi, Pune, supplementing the existing 0.50 MSF. Moreover, plans are underway to add about 0.8 MSF in Coimbatore, reinforcing IndiaLand’s strong presence in Tamil Nadu.

The strategic expansion will not only consolidate IndiaLand’s presence in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra but also mark its burgeoning dominance across these pivotal regions.

IndiaLand’s Chairman Mr. Harish Fabiani remarked, "This investment marks a pivotal step towards our commitment to fostering sustainable growth and revitalizing urban infrastructures in India. We are setting new benchmarks in the real estate sector, ensuring that our developments reflect the future of workspace and industrial solutions."

The CEO of IndiaLand Mr. Salai Kumaran added, "Our strategy is to anticipate and fulfill the evolving needs of modern businesses by providing them with state-of-the-art facilities in prime locations. The expansion in Pune, Chennai and Coimbatore are geared towards creating ecosystems that foster innovation and growth."

To cater to the increasing demand for industrial space, IndiaLand is gearing up for significant expansions in Pune and Chennai. The inaugural phase of a grand 500-acre industrial and logistics park near Chennai, covering about 150 acres, is set to commence, with completion targeted within the next 3-5 years.

Expansion plans also extend to the existing 20-acre industrial and logistics park in Pune, as part of this ambitious growth blueprint.

Acknowledging the potential in Tier II cities, IndiaLand’s COO Mr. Rishi Choudhury stated, "By expanding into Tier II cities, we are not just addressing a market need but also contributing to the regional economic development. These cities are ripe for transformation, and we are excited to be at the forefront of this change."

Through this series of strategic investments and expansions, IndiaLand is committed to enhancing its portfolio and addressing the growing needs for high-quality commercial and industrial real estate across India.
