Dreamtime Learning launches AiQ, the AI that gives teachers their evenings back

A school's biggest blind spot isn't the classroom. It's the owner's desk. Buried in admissions, admin and daily operations, most school owners only find out how teaching and learning are really going twice a year, when exam results arrive. Dreamtime Learning's new AI platform closes that gap with a daily, AI-generated report on every teacher and every student, not a twice-yearly one.

National, 27 August 2026. Dreamtime Learning today launched Dreamtime AiQ, an AI platform built to give school owners and leaders something they've never had: real-time visibility into every classroom, without adding a single task to their day.

The launch follows Dreamtime Learning's Pre-Series A round from Nikhil Kamath and Abhijeet Pai's Gruhas (March 2025), and carries the weight of Lina Ashar's track record building Billabong High and Kangaroo Kids into two of India's best-known school chains, alongside Sudip Saha, Founder of Dreamtime AiQ, who took the product from vision to build.

At a glance

  • The gap: Owners are consumed by admin and operations, and see academic quality only at exam time, twice a year.

  • -

  • The fix: Daily, AI-generated reports on every teacher and student, plus voice attendance, AI-corrected answer sheets, and automated parent Q&A that give teachers back 3–4 hours a day.

  • -

  • The backing: Gruhas (Nikhil Kamath, Abhijeet Pai), Pre-Series A, March 2025.

  • -

  • Live now: Pilots underway across internal and partner schools. ~₹1 lakh/year for up to 10 teachers, alongside a school's existing ERP.

Through the day, teacher notes are transcribed and structured into signals an owner can act on immediately: engagement, accuracy, where a teacher needs support, while the academic year can still be corrected, not after it's over. A companion admissions tool profiles every prospective student and shares the report with the family, even if they enrol elsewhere. Parents get one evening summary of their child's day; students open the app to a simple check-in before schoolwork begins.

"School owners don't lose visibility because they don't care; they lose it because a school runs on a hundred things at once, and academic quality is the one that doesn't shout for attention," said Sudip Saha, Founder, Dreamtime AiQ. "We built AiQ so an owner never has to wait for a report card to know how every teacher and every child is really doing. We built it inside our own schools first, before anywhere else."

"The data in most schools exists but stays underused, and the four people who shape a child's education rarely see the same picture at the same time," said Lina Ashar, Founder, Dreamtime Learning. "It takes a village to raise a child. Our question was how to make that village cohesive without adding to anyone's load."

About Dreamtime Learning Founded by Lina Ashar, who previously built Billabong High International School and Kangaroo Kids, Dreamtime Learning runs an online school reaching learners in 40+ countries and is backed by Nikhil Kamath and Abhijeet Pai's Gruhas.
