Tata Motors has proudly announced the launch of Tata Curvv, the SUV Coupe. After the launch of their electric variant last month, the petrol variant is priced at 9.99 lakh, the diesel variant is priced at 11.49 lakh, and the Dual Clutch Automatic variant starts at 12.49 lakh. Customers can now book the model, with deliveries scheduled to commence on 12 September 2024. The Introductory prices are valid for bookings made until 31 October 2024.

Inside the Curvv ICE, the cabin exudes a stylish blend of burgundy and black, creating a sleek and inviting atmosphere. The four-spoke steering wheel feels comfortable, while the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system offers easy access to all your favourite apps through wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You’ll enjoy the rich sound of a nine-speaker JBL audio system, adding a premium touch to your driving experience. The front seats are ventilated for added comfort and feature a six-way electric adjustment to find your perfect driving position. Plus, the rear seats offer a two-step reclining function, letting your passengers relax just as they like.

The Curvv SUV has top-notch safety features to keep you and your passengers secure. It includes a 360-degree camera system for a comprehensive view around the vehicle and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to make driving smoother and safer. You’ll also find six airbags, electronic stability control, all-wheel disc brakes, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) to enhance your peace of mind on the road.

Specification and Design

The Curvv SUV is designed to impress with its solid features. It has 18-inch wheels, a ground clearance of 190 mm, and can handle water-wading up to 450 mm—ideal for different terrains. It also has a balanced weight distribution and a roomy 500-litre boot for all your storage needs.

The Curvv SUV’s petrol and diesel model design is very similar to the electric version, and it is all built on Tata Motor’s new ATLAS platform. It features a sleek, coupe-like shape, with standout LED daytime running lights (DRL) above the front grille and LED lighting. The ICE versions also have stylish air vents, chrome accents, and handy front sensors.

For those interested in colour options, the Curvv ICE will be available in an attractive range, including Gold Essence, Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Flame Red, Pure Grey, and Opera Blue. It will come in four trims—Smart, Pure, Creative, and Accomplished—with a unique Dark Edition expected to join the lineup in the future.

1.2 L Revotron Petrol engine: The 1.2L Revotron petrol engine offers a proven turbocharged powertrain that excels in performance whether navigating city streets or cruising on the highway. Complementing this engine are multiple drive modes—Eco, City, and Sport—that are adapted to various driving conditions. The vehicle also features paddle shifters and a Smart E-Shifter for the DCA. The 7-speed DCA highlights include a wet clutch with active cooling technology, auto park lock, machine learning capabilities, shift-by-wire technology, and a self-healing mechanism – all designed to enhance driving efficiency and comfort.

1.5 L KryoJet Diesel engine: The 1.5 L Kryojet Diesel engine powering the Curvv is a new Diesel engine from Tata Motors. It has the best-in-class power, torque and fuel efficiency in the category, providing unmatched convenience and is also the only diesel engine in its category to feature passive SCR technology, which reduces emissions without the need for AdBlue refills, providing best-in-class ease of maintenance. The first-in-segment 7-speed DCA with E-shifter includes multiple drive modes- Eco, City and Sport, a wet clutch with active cooling technology, shift-by-wire technology, self-learning capability, patented self-healing technology, and Auto Park Lock feature.
