Jai Narain Singh - Independent Engineer representative
In India’s growing infrastructure sector, practical engineering skills and strong leadership together create projects that last for decades. Mr. Jai Narain Singh, a civil engineer with over 25 years of experience, represents this blend of knowledge and hands-on expertise.
He currently serves as an Independent Engineer at MSV International, bringing both technical insight and real-world problem-solving to every project.
Mr. Singh’s career spans several important roles, including Incharge of Bridge & Structures at Aicons Armenge JV, Team Leader at TES Ltd for GSU Railway and railway track doubling projects, Bridge & Structure Engineer at MSV International, and Resident Engineer at MEGA GEC, Oriental Consultants.
He holds a BE in Civil Engineering from DTU (formerly Delhi College of Engineering), an MTech in Structures from MDU Rohtak, PMP and SCM certifications from IIT Delhi Hauzkhas, and an MBA in Finance & Accounting from Amity University, Noida. This combination of education and experience allows him to handle both technical and management challenges on large-scale projects, making him a trusted figure in civil engineering and construction management.
Over his career, Mr. Singh has worked on major civil engineering projects that form the backbone of public utilities and national infrastructure. His work covers bridges, railway structures, highways, rural and urban roads, water resources, and urban development, focusing on making structures strong, safe, and long-lasting. Recent studies on reinforced concrete highlight that durability and careful planning are key to extending the life of infrastructure. Mr. Singh follows these principles by applying practical design approaches, predicting maintenance needs, and using performance-based design in his projects.
This approach aligns with the mission of MSV International, a civil engineering consultancy committed to India’s infrastructure development. TES provides a wide range of services, including highways, bridges, rural and urban roads, railway infrastructure, topographical surveys, water and irrigation projects, and more.
With offices in major cities across India, the company stays close to its projects and clients, delivering work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards at every stage, from R&D and design to on-ground execution.
Mr. Singh and MSV International share a simple idea: infrastructure is about more than construction; it’s about creating assets that benefit communities and industries for the long term. Every project is treated as a responsibility, designed to withstand environmental stresses, reduce maintenance requirements, and serve public and industrial needs reliably. By focusing on long-term durability, Mr. Singh and his team make sure that structures remain safe and functional well beyond their expected service life.
Reinforced concrete, the backbone of modern infrastructure, inevitably faces challenges like steel corrosion, cracking, and spalling. By using performance-based design approaches and predictive models, Mr. Singh ensures that these issues are addressed during the planning and execution phases. This not only extends the life of structures but also helps optimise resource use, reduce costs, and minimise disruption to communities and industries that depend on these assets.
With decades of experience in civil engineering and construction management, Mr. Singh has become a trusted professional and mentor in his field. He understands both the technical and practical sides of infrastructure, from safety and sustainability to economic and operational outcomes. His career demonstrates the value of combining engineering expertise with a commitment to long-term social impact, ensuring that every project contributes positively to India’s development. Through his experience and leadership, Mr. Singh and the team at MSV International continue to deliver infrastructure solutions that set high standards for durability, reliability, and efficiency, contributing to the nation’s development and shaping projects that will serve generations to come.
