Pathum Nissanka Silva, born on 18th May 1998 in Galle, has swiftly risen to prominence as a dynamic force in Sri Lankan cricket. From humble beginnings to dazzling performances on the international stage, Nissanka's journey exemplifies the triumph of talent and perseverance.
Growing up in a financially constrained household, Pathum's childhood was marked by challenges. His father, Sunil Silva, worked as a ground boy, while his mother sold flowers near the Kalutara temple to make ends meet. Despite the hardships, Pathum's passion for cricket burned bright.
