Ameera Shah, born on September 24, 1979, is a prominent Indian entrepreneur and the Managing Director of Metropolis Healthcare, a multinational chain of pathology centres headquartered in Mumbai and spanning seven countries.

Ameera Shah was born into a family deeply rooted in the medical field. Her father, Dr. Sushil Shah, is a renowned pathologist, and her mother, Dr. Duru Shah, is a distinguished gynaecologist.
Growing up in Mumbai, Ameera was surrounded by a family of doctors, with her elder sister, Aparna Shah, being a geneticist.
Ameera's educational journey began with her studies in commerce at H.R. College of Commerce and Economics. She later pursued a degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
