The awards recognize the company’s consistent global export performance in the Heavy & Light Motor Vehicle: Small Enterprise category for the fiscal years 2021–22 and 2022–23.

The 2021–22 award was presented to Managing Director Mr. T.T. Paranthaman by Shri Jitin Prasada, Hon’ble Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. This milestone marked PRD Rigs' 17th consecutive award from EEPC India—an outstanding track record in Indian manufacturing excellence. “Witnessing this moment was not just a celebration of our past, but a reminder of what lies ahead,” said Mr. Paranthaman.

Continuing its success, PRD Rigs secured the Star Performer Award again for 2022–23, presented to CEO Mr. Mithunraj Paranthaman by Adv. Ashish Shelar, Hon’ble Minister of Information Technology & Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra, at the 55th EEPC India National Awards held on June 21, 2025. “This recognition energizes us to push harder and think bigger as we take Indian engineering to the world,” said Mr. Mithunraj.
