Mangal GrahaSevaSanstha, located in Amalner tehsil of Jalgaon district of Maharashtra, which is leading in religious and social work, was given Babasaheb Ambedkar Samaj Bhushan Award by the Social and Special Services Department of Maharashtra Government on 12 March.

Honorable Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri. Eknathji Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Shri. AjitjiPawar, Youth and Sports Minister SanjayjiBansode, MLA SanjayjiSavkare, Secretary OmprakashjiBakoriaji were present.

MangalgrahaSevaSansthan President Dr. Digambar Mahale and Joint Secretary DilipBahiram accepted the award with good wishes from Hon.Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Secretary Omprakash Bakoria. The nature of the award is Rs 25,000 in cash, a memento and a certificate.

The self-proclaimed idol of Lord Mars and the Dakshinatya style idol of his mother Bhoomi Devi are enshrined in the only temple of Lord Mars in the world.
