You can explore the B.Sc in Interior Design or the B.Des in Interior Design. Eligibility is a 10+2 pass with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories), and admission is through the AAFT Global Entrance Test (GET).
After the degree, interior design graduates can work across many industries. These include residential and commercial design, hospitality and hotels, retail and showrooms, real estate and architecture firms, furniture and lighting brands, exhibition and set design, and their own design studios.
What Will You Learn and Master?
The course covers the full craft of interior design. You learn space planning, colour theory, lighting, materials and furniture design. You also study Vaastu, building construction, estimation and costing, and green, sustainable design.
On the technical side, you master industry software for 3D visualisation. This includes AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit and Lumion. You also learn interior photography, exhibition and set design, and urban and landscape planning.
What Jobs and Salary Can You Expect?
Interior design graduates work as designers, space planners, 3D visualisers and project managers, and pay grows with your portfolio and skills. Junior roles usually start around ₹3 to 5 LPA. This rises to ₹6 to 10 LPA with experience, and ₹12 LPA and above for senior designers. AAFT reports a highest package of 14 LPA. These are industry estimates, not figures promised by AAFT Noida.

Who Teaches at the School of Interior Design?
The School's Industry Dean is Ms. Sunita Kohli, the Padma Shri interior designer introduced above, whose mentorship guides the school. The day-to-day teaching team is led by Prof. Jayesh Wadia, Dean. He has over 25 years in interiors, graphics, multimedia and CAD. He holds a Master's in Interior Design, is pursuing a PhD, and has led design departments and run his own studio.
