One of the premium five-seater SUVs by TATA, Harrier, is the first car that is unique and built on a Land Rover platform. The uniqueness of the TATA Harrier lies in the fact that it has a front-wheel-drive and monocoque construction.

TATA Harrier was launched in 2019 in only a diesel-manual form, the range has expanded, and a diesel-auto version was also introduced. The 2.0-litre diesel engine of Harrier’s 2.0-litre power has also been upped to 170hp. There is also a TATA Harrier petrol engine version in the works.

The seven-seat version of the Harrier, the Tata Gravitas, was also set to go on sale within 2020. However, the seven-seater was renamed as Safari and launched in the Indian market. The Tata Harrier rivals a full spectrum of SUVs, from the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos to the MG Hector, Mahindra XUV500 and Jeep Compass.
