

Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], June 06: Global Technical Institute added another feather to its cap as Moumita Roy Chowdhury, Principal of the institute, and Poulami Chowdhury, Vice Principal, were felicitated at the prestigious International Buddha Peace Award 2026 ceremony held at Rabindra Tirtha Auditorium, Kolkata.
The award was presented by Honourable Cabinet Minister of West Bengal, Shri Dilip Ghosh, in recognition of the institute’s outstanding contribution towards skill development and job-ready technical education for unemployed youth across West Bengal.
Global Technical Institute received the “Best Technical Training Institute in West Bengal” award category for its continuous efforts in empowering students through industry-oriented technical courses and employment-focused training programs.
