Khajuraho is a city in Madhya Pradesh, located in the Chhatarpur. The city is mostly known for its Hinduism and Jain temples and is famous for its erotic sculptures. The town has its name earlier "Chhatarpur" is derived from the Sanskrit word khanjar, meaning 'date palm'.

It is a city of known for its unique temples and it is about its intricate sculptures located in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. The UNESCO site of “Khajuraho group of monuments” is famous for its Nagara-style architecture and graceful sculptures of nayikas and many more sculptures.

4. Parsvanatha Temple

This ancient shrine is dedicated to the first Jain Tirthankara Adinatha the founder of Jainism temples. Months of summer are hot and dry with temperatures shooting up to a sweltering 45 degrees Celsius during the day.

This season receives the minimum amount of tourist activity and is the offseason in this place. So, the season of winter or after the monsoon is good for visiting Khajuraho. October to March is the best season for Khajuraho sightseeing.
